Every year, wedding trends seem to evolve further away from original customs. From churches being replaced with restaurants to the revision of classic vows, weddings are no longer celebrated in a traditional format. The bridal gown is now seen in a variety of styles from crop top and skirt pairings to even jumpsuits. Like bridal fashion, men have also been experimenting with their wedding looks. While there are men who still choose to wear the classic black tux, others go for a less conventional look.
Take, for instance, our feature patron. Hailing all the way from Tampa, Florida, this young gentleman came to us --via Skype-- with a colourful vision for his wedding day. Playing with texture, pattern and colour, we created a three-piece suit out of USW and Jodek fabric. The single pleat pants are grey while the five button vest is an eye-catching plaid design with a purple, blue and brown colour palette. The suit jacket is a structured silhouette in Bahama blue. Our contemporary groom finished his look with a polka-dot tie, printed pocket square (also from Trend) and brown oxfords.
Though modern in every way, our groom did not outshine his bride. Standing just as stylish beside him, our patron's bride wore a modified A-line gown with floral appliqué and a blush pink tulle skirt. With an updo accented by a crystal hair accessory -- that went beautifully with the crystal belt attached to her dress -- she was breathtaking.
