The Chandelier Karmazyn Rose Wedding Dress

In the late summer of 2011, we began consultations for a bespoke couture dress. From planning to execution, the Chandelier Karmazyn Rose wedding dress was a stunning example of delicate detail and formal design. Multiple muslin fittings and dress fittings took place over the better part of three months, shaping and transforming the silk into a one-of-a-kind dress inspired by the Karmazyn crimson rose.

This mermaid, strapless dress of bone white peau de soie features a train with a peek-a-boo reveal of hundreds of hand-sewn red silk roses of every stage of development, from tiny buds to large flowering blooms. Two red rosebuds embellish the length of silk lacing of the corseted bodice. Hand-appliqued Swarovski and Austrian crystals adorn the bodice, beginning from the bust line and drip down the length of the dress drawing inspiration from the sparkling luxury of a crystal chandelier.

A red, silk evening coat was also created at the request of our client, featuring hand-embroidery and rose embellishments.

We produce a limited number of bespoke couture dresses and bridal gowns throughout the year, by request. Contact us for further details.
